A business back office for auto body certification

Every approved vehicle has dozens of standardized specifications—approvals, dimensions, engines, fuel tanks. Using Vendure’s product and variant model, we’ve translated this business complexity into clear, editable data sheets without the need for extensive development.

Putting together a certification application involves many interdependent steps. We’ve repurposed Vendure’s order drafts to create a guided, step-by-step process that shows in real time what has been completed and what still needs to be done.

Manufacturer’s label, tare weight plate, COC certificates… each file generates a stack of official documents. Thanks tothe React ecosystem, we’ve integrated a generation and printing module that produces these documents on demand, in the correct formats.

Vendure is an open-source e-commerce platform whose back office is designed to be extensible. Rather than developing an administrative interface from scratch, we built upon this extensible dashboard and adapted it to the terminology and rules of the industry: manufacturers, approvals, assembly centers, and certification files.

The result: a tool that speaks the teams’ language, built on a proven foundation.
