Systems, Networks, and IT Tools Engineer
Job description:
Within our IT Department, you will join a versatile team responsible for the entire internal IT infrastructure of the DATASOLUTION organization. Your responsibilities will include managing workstations, virtualizing employee tools, ensuring network and endpoint security, providing user support, and developing internal tools for all French sites. You will be expected to use AI as a productivity driver in your development work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Management & MDM (Endpoint Systems Engineer)
- Administration of MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions for Mac, Windows, and Linux fleets
- Deployment, Configuration, and Hardening of Workstations
- Defining and Implementing Endpoint Security Policies
Virtualization & Infrastructure
- Management and Maintenance of Virtual Machines in VMware
- Administration of Windows Server and Debian servers (deployment, updates, monitoring)
- Contributing to the evolution of infrastructure architecture
Networks & Security
- Management of internal firewalls (rules, NAT, VLANs, VPN)
- Network Traffic Monitoring and Analysis
- Participation in security and compliance audits
- Administration of Internal Security Tools
User Support
- Handling Level 1 and Level 2 tickets (help desk) for a technologically savvy user base (technicians, developers, etc.)
- Support for employees regarding office and business software
- Writing technical documentation and user guides
Development of Internal Tools (AI-Assisted)
- Design and development of scripts and automation tools for the IT department
- Using Generative AI as a Development Assistant.
- Participation in the identification and integration of new technological solutions

- VMware vSphere / ESXi
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP)
Debian / Common Linux Services
Development & Tools
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Using AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, etc.)
Basic knowledge of web development or APIs is a plus

Desired Qualifications
Education:
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Networks/Systems
- School of Computer Engineering, Master’s in Systems & Networks
Experience:
- Junior candidates are welcome—prior experience through a work-study program, internship, or personal project is a plus
- Any experience with hybrid environments (Windows/Linux/Mac) is a plus
