Definition of a Content Management System<\/h2>\n

Within the MDM ecosystem<\/strong>, the concept of a CMS<\/strong> goes beyond its traditional definition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A CMS is commonly associated with WCM (web content management)<\/strong> tools, such as WordPress<\/strong>, Drupal<\/strong>, or Joomla<\/strong>. These tools are easy to install<\/strong>, cost-effective<\/strong>, and have become widely adopted enterprise solutions<\/strong> for managing corporate websites<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

By definition, a content management system (CMS)<\/strong> is a software category<\/strong> that allows users to design, manage, and update websites or mobile applications<\/strong> dynamically. These systems are often referred to as dynamic content management systems (DCMS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CMS platforms can be used by multiple users simultaneously<\/strong>, with roles and permissions<\/strong> assigned to manage content (e.g., administrator, contributor). They also help structure website content into categories<\/strong>, such as FAQs<\/strong>, blog articles<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n
