Redesign of B2C sites (Calipage, Plein Ciel, Buro +) with Intershop
Adveo (https://www.adveo.com/) is one of the main European players in the wholesale distribution of office supplies, services and solutions. Leader in France and the Benelux, the Adveo group offers with its various regional logistics centres more than 25,000 references available in 24/48 hours throughout the territory.
The objectives of this project :
- Redesign of the Calipage, Plein Ciel, Buro+ brand sites (B2C e-commerce)
- New branding and key features for the different sites : Click & Collect, school lists, ink cartridge selector…
The challenge of this project was to set up very quickly (within only 4 months) functional e-commerce sites. In addition, the architecture set up will be the basis for building the future B2B2B project.
Our team encountered various difficulties on this project. First of all, the management of very short deadlines (4 months).
Then it was important to find and propose solutions close to the Intershop standard.
Finally, the transmission of order flows to distributors not ready on the customer IS side. The circumvention of this situation was the sending of order data in XML format by mail to the distributors, so they integrate them into their management systems.
