Developing a catalog website for a customized user experience
VTech is the story of a success story that began in Hong Kong. It is in this temple of technology that the first electronic educational toys were developed. Invading global markets, VTech established itself in France in 1991 and quickly became the number one in electronic educational games, as in many other countries.

Animations to bring the catalog site to life
We didn’t revolutionize VTech’s graphic design, but we still reworked it to bring some pep to their website. The idea was to highlight the electronic aspect while staying in the world of childhood. To do this, we used colors that were sometimes bright, sometimes softer and pastel. To make it more dynamic, we also created animations for the slider as well as when clicking on certain buttons.

Organizational work
The header menu offers entries by age group. To allow parents to combine this age entry with the brand universe they prefer, we have designed an adaptable and flexible grid system.

Informing and reassuring parents
It was important to reassure parents about the safety of the toys and inform them about how to use them. Educational and electronic toys can be quite complex. The amount of information to be included in each product sheet was significant. Therefore, we opted for a menu that allows navigation within the page using anchors. To explain how the toys work, we created a section called “The toy in detail”. On the right-hand side, an image shows the toy with numbered markers. When you click on one of them, the right-hand section is activated, displaying a photo and an explanatory text on the toy’s functionality.
Flexible and modular pages
A simple and functional interface
Upon arriving on the site, we implemented a slider showcasing the various VTech universes. Each slide links to the descriptive page of the brand. Although they are all constructed on the same template, the graphic atmosphere is different for each one to mark their unique identities.
