More sales online

In March 2020, during the lockdown, Saint-Maclou became aware of the need to accelerate its digital presence in order to develop online sales and click & collect.

In June 2020, Saint-Maclou selected DATASOLUTION and Shopify Plus to implement a new version of its e-commerce website, which is the final component of a complete overhaul of its digital ecosystem.

A 100% decoupled approach

This redesign was done in 100% headless, using the Contentful CMS (for products and content), a REACT front-end, and Shopify Plus for the transactional part (cart and ordering).

Since 2021, a “Digital Factory” has been set up to better support the growth of the digital activity.

Synchronization with CRM

Customer accounts benefit from synchronization with the CRM, and all interactions and connections with the Saint-Maclou information system are carried out via a dedicated middleware based on Shopify APIs.

 

This was just the beginning!

The new version of the website was launched in October 2020 after a 3.5-month project. The team then structured itself to take care of the maintenance and evolution of the front-end based on REACT, in addition to the Shopify part.
