The transition to Shopify Plus aimed at enhancing brand image and conversion rates.
Founded by Pierre Hardy in 1999, the eponymous luxury house creates and sells high-end shoes, bags, and accessories.
With over 40 employees and 150 global retailers, the brand boasts stores in Tokyo and Paris.
PIERRE HARDY, with a digital presence in Japan, Europe, and the United States, epitomizes the fusion of elegance and innovation.

For several years, PIERRE HARDY had been selling online through an open-source platform, facing significant update costs and technical maintenance that slowed down the implementation of improvements.
The brand began searching for a platform that could accelerate its business and meet its specific needs.
Already impressed with the Shopify Plus CMS, as used by its Japanese subsidiary, our experts advised the brand on choosing this solution before being commissioned to redesign the platform.
The project, fully implemented in agile mode, was broken down into multiple sprints for continuous project progress presentations, enhancing efficiency. This method allowed our teams to remain in tune with our client’s needs and expectations.
Launched in January 2023, the project went live in May, a five-month mission!

- DATASOLUTION‘s creative studio produced all the graphic mockups, optimized for responsive design, ensuring performance on both desktop and mobile formats. The entire artistic direction was conceived with one primary objective: rejuvenating the brand’s image. Our creative experts developed new graphic codes, incorporating animated GIFs to add movement and dynamism to the platform, and video formats, especially for showcasing new collections, all while adhering to CRO best practices to maximize site performance and conversion.
- Our teams also established a dedicated online store for the United States and another utilizing Shopify Markets for the French and European markets. This strategic approach ensures an optimal user experience internationally, directing visitors to the site corresponding to their geographical location.
Deployment of Shopify’s native features to facilitate in-store click & collect.
For the French and American stores, the Shopify Payments module has been installed. This allows online shoppers to easily utilize innovative payment methods such as Apple Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay.
All editorial content is natively managed through the CMS’s metafields.
Integrating Shopify with the ERP posed a challenge due to the lack of a ready-made connector. Our Shopify experts thus employed a system that allows for the direct export of flat files from Shopify. This is particularly effective in synchronizing orders, customers, and inventory.

A smooth user journey & a site with a sleek style
The customer experience is at the heart of the project, and our UX/UI teams have developed a mobile-first journey that offers fluid and enjoyable navigation for all visitors, whether they are connected via mobile or desktop.
On the product page, for example, the photos and videos of the product are beautifully showcased.
The added bonus?
The integration of a powerful zoom feature, allowing the user to appreciate every detail of the garment or accessory on display.
Our experts opted for “sticky” content that remains in place during page scrolling.
The benefit?
Keeping the ‘add to basket’ and ‘quick buy via Apple Pay’ CTAs always visible: a small detail that helps increase basket and purchase rates.
Finally, at the bottom of the page, we find the implementation of cross-selling managed, again, with Shopify’s native options, along with the browsing history. Thanks to this, the visitor feels guided in their exploration of the PIERRE HARDY catalog.
