We designed a complete Smart building project for Aivancity School, the first French school dedicated to innovation and AI, by fully digitizing the school: Pepper robots, smart screens, geolocation in the colors… Welcome to a (truly) surprising school that lives up to all its promises!

A school dedicated to artificial intelligence

Not a business school, not an engineering school. Aivancity recruits technical profiles as well as profiles from social sciences and places innovation at the center of its teaching. The goal? To address all needs related to data and artificial intelligence. And to mark the occasion, it has taken up residence in brand new premises specially designed for it. Because what would an AI school be without a completely phygital experience ?

Welcoming students and visitors: the mission of the robot Pepper !

Few establishments have a proper reception. Often, it’s a small office, in a corner almost forgotten in a rather immense hall. And at worst… Not much at all! The first time you set foot on a campus, it’s not always easy to find your way around. So, we have configured a reception application in the Pepper robot that specifically meets aivancity’s needs. And this futuristic and multifunctional reception agent is even perched on a platform in the middle of the reception hall to compensate for its small size ! ?

Next buses, events, social networks, broadcasting real-time information with SmartScreens.

SmartScreens: our screen offer at your service

Installed in strategic locations (reception hall, cafeteria, etc.), our SmartScreens provide useful information to the various audiences of the school. Today’s weather, times and locations of upcoming classes, university social networks, news or times of next public transportation passages…

Smart Building relies on QR codes for orientation in the maze of the school

To fully digitize aivancity, we wanted to equip the 15 classrooms, 9 student workspaces, and 8 meeting rooms with QR codes. Placed at the entrance of each space, they lead, once scanned, to an interactive page. This page lists the courses and speakers for each room. By swiping left or right, it is possible to consult the courses of the previous or next day. A module that allows users to quickly see availability and reserve a room in just a few clicks! And to spice things up a bit, this QR code also allows users to locate themselves on a map. This way, they can more easily find their way to their next destination.
